Description:
St. Karen’s Collegiate School participated in One Nation Reading Together : ONRT Reading Activity-2019-2020 on 24th January 2020. At 12 o’clock sharp, the students of Std.1 to 5 along with the teachers, took the Reading Pledge written by Sampurna Chattarji and read their books for 10 minutes. Thoughts and expressions on books and reading were penned down by the students on the ‘graffiti wall”. The students enthusiastically participated in the activity of designing a reading badge with beautiful and inspiring quotes written on them. The teachers and the students wore the badges. The endeavour was to encourage and inculcate the habit of reading in everyone.
