Description:
“Our cultural and natural heritage are both irreplaceable sources of life and inspiration. They are our touchstones, our points of reference, our identity.”
India is home to a vast and diverse cultural heritage, with numerous sites that showcase its rich history, architectural marvels, and ancient traditions. These sites include UNESCO World Heritage Sites, which are considered to be of significant importance not just for India but for the entire world.
On the occasion of the upcoming World Heritage Day (18th April) the Social Science Department at Rupaspur Branch, conducted an event "Presentation on Heritage sites of India".
All the class 7 sections participated enthusiastically in the competition with different Heritage sites of India. Each of them took a great effort in making the PowerPoint presentation. The judges Angela Knight Ma'am and Reshmi Miss appreciated all the students' work. They interacted with each team personally and informed them regarding the areas of improvement.
The classes 7D presenting on Konark temple and 7G presenting on Fatehpur Sikri were the best performers. The winners were awarded with certificates.
